Garden Club
The Grounds Crew would like to extend an invitation to all Gibbons families, alumni and staff to become members of
‘The CGS Grounds Crew”
The Grounds Crew meets six times a year from 9:00 AM to noon to help maintain the grounds and facilities of the school. The group meets on ”Handy Man Saturdays” in September, October, November, March, April and May.
Accomplishments from last year include:
- painting the football field fence along Caton Ave.
- painting and repair of the auditorium foyer
- cleaning and painting the kitchen and meeting rooms of the Weber House
- cleaning and organization of the utility closets in cafeteria
- painting auditorium restrooms
- repairing courtyard grill stand
- trimming bushes, weeding and planting the gardens on CGS campus
Please join us with your son(s) on for our next “Handy Man Saturday”. We’ll meet in the cafeteria before tackling the next project! Let Ken Hess, Chris Colclough or Maureen Howley know if you have special skills or interests such as plumbing or electrical work. Please let us know and we’ll do our best to match your skills to the needs of the school.
