Performing Arts- Drama

Cardinal Gibbons School presents two dramatic productions per year, a musical and a drama. Working closely with the ladies at Seton Keough High School, our drama students have the option of participating in their plays and musicals as well. This results in four different production opportunities per school year, which allows students to participate in athletics and other school activities in addition to the drama program. Students participate as actors, stage crew, builders, painters, musicians and more!

Eligible students may be invited to join our school’s chapter of The International Thespian Society. http://www.edta.org

Recent productions have included “Our Town”, “Fiddler on the Roof”, “Barefoot in the Park”, “Grease”, “Robin Hood”, “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying”, “Footloose”, and Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night”.

Electives offered to upperclassmen may include Dramatic Arts and Stagecraft.
